Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Genlinko Technologies Private Limited (“Genlinko”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India. By creating an account, booking a demo, or using genlinko.in or the Genlinko application (together, the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. What Genlinko does
Genlinko is a software-as-a-service product that helps you improve your own presence on LinkedIn. It audits and rewrites your profile, scores and optimises the posts you draft, suggests keywords and hashtags based on how your own content performs, and helps you structure and optimise ad campaigns you run from your own advertising account.
Genlinko operates on the LinkedIn account you connect and the permissions you grant. It is a tool that assists you; you remain the author and publisher of your content.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- You must give accurate account information and keep it current, and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly at support@genlinko.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing content
- Use it to operate accounts you are not authorised to operate, or to impersonate anyone
- Attempt to use the Service to scrape LinkedIn, harvest other members’ data, or circumvent any platform’s rate limits or access controls
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the Service without our written agreement
- Reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with its security or normal operation
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you provide and the content Genlinko helps you produce. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service for you — for example to analyse a draft and return suggestions, or to publish a post at your instruction. You are responsible for what you publish.
6. Third-party services, including LinkedIn
The Service depends on LinkedIn’s APIs and on other third-party providers such as cloud hosting and email delivery. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own terms and policies, and you must comply with them when using Genlinko. You are responsible for holding a LinkedIn account in good standing and, for advertising features, your own LinkedIn advertising account and the spend on it.
Genlinko is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. Third-party platforms may change, restrict or withdraw their APIs at any time, which may change or interrupt parts of the Service through no fault of ours.
7. Fees
Paid plans are quoted to you before you subscribe. Fees are payable in advance for the agreed billing period and, unless stated otherwise in your order or required by law, are non-refundable for periods already started. We will give you notice before any change to your fees takes effect. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and brand, belongs to Genlinko. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active. Nothing here transfers ownership of the Service to you.
9. No guarantee of results
Genlinko gives recommendations and predictions; it does not control LinkedIn’s ranking or delivery. We do not guarantee any particular level of reach, impressions, engagement, followers, leads or advertising performance. Any figures shown in marketing material are illustrative and are not a promise of results.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
- By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing support@genlinko.in. Deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
- By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if your use puts the Service or another platform’s rules at risk, or if required by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
- On termination. Your right to use the Service ends, we disconnect the LinkedIn integration and delete stored tokens, and we handle your remaining data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the Service and these terms
We keep developing the Service, so features may change. We may update these terms; when we make material changes we will update the date above and notify you by email or in the application. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will handle any dispute arising from them.
